This window consists of 100 hand made jewels. Using a 120 year tradition of hand beveling each piece: a four stage process of roughing, smoothing, corking, and polishing on wheels and stones- a very time consuming process. Each piece has around The thickness of each piece varies from 3/8”- 3/4” thick glass and 10-15 facets on each individual jewel. This was done by one of our master bevelers in our studio. The refraction that illuminates off this window is spectacular. Hundreds of prisms flare off with ease do to the thickness and facets of the jewels. It has a new oak frame and the size, with the frame, is 18 7/8” x 18 7/8”. The price is right for this one of a kind window!
